Formerly known as the Diverhotel Tenerife, the Blue Sea Costa Jardin is famed for its outstanding views of Tenerife’s volcano, Mount Teide. With a peaceful position on the outskirts of the resort, it’s particularly suited to those seeking a laid-back break – and for those who love to explore, attractions such as Loro Parque are within a 15-minute drive.
The hotel’s traditionally-decorated Double Rooms each come with air conditioning and heating, and lead on to a private balcony or terrace. Further features include an en-suite bathroom, a 32” LCD TV and a hairdryer, with a safe additionally offered for a local charge. Wi-Fi is not available in the guest rooms, but is available in the lobby on a limited basis.
To make the most of the spectacular surroundings, rooms with views of Mount Teide are also available – and for a little extra space and luxury, there’s a choice of Junior Suites complete with cosy lounge areas and circular bathtubs.
The main restaurant, El Drago, serves a choice of local and international fare, including themed dishes and live show cooking. There’s also a beverage bar serving a range of soft drinks and tipples.
The hotel’s All Inclusive programme runs from 10:00-24:00 daily, and includes breakfast, lunch and dinner served buffet-style in the main restaurant. A selection of snacks are also offered throughout the day, along with a choice of locally-produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
There’s a super-sized lagoon pool in the outdoor complex, together with water slides for little ones and an exclusive adults-only Jacuzzi. Active guests will also love the on-site gym, tennis, mini golf and archery – whilst those seeking some R&R can head to the beautiful spa (payable locally) which features an ice cave and range of hydrotherapies. Plus, for all the family, there’s a great entertainment programme with daytime animation and live evening shows, including a friendly mini club for kids.
Please note that a naturist sunbathing zone is featured within the property – this is completely closed off from other areas, and is not easily accessible.
