Occidental Ibiza is a member hotel of the Barceló Hotel Group and formerly called Barceló Pueblo Ibiza. The hotel opens from April to October, which makes it ideal for families with children. The Bay of San Antonio, Ibiza, is famous for being one of the most beautiful in the Mediterranean. With the village of San Antonio on the north side and the Bay holiday area extending along the south. The Bay has a relaxed friendly atmosphere, perfect for strolling around. By day, you are never far from a beach and at night there is plenty to do and see. On the spacious terraces of the cafes & bars, many have live shows and music until midnight when everyone continues the party inside the air conditioned comfort – or move on to the famous big clubs.
There is a buffet restaurant with air-conditioning, a terrace bar (open from 5th May to 30th September), and a lounge bar. The All Inclusive programme consists of breakfast, lunch & dinner, all served in the main restaurant. During meals house wine, water, soft drinks and beer are offered. A variety of snacks is available during day time when the main restaurant is closed. Afternoon tea, coffee and biscuits are offered from 15:00 to 18:00 as well as ice cream for adults & children from 10:00 to 23:00. Selected brands of national and international alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, tea and coffee are served from 10:00 to 23:00.
There are table games, two swimming pools, one children’s pool and terraces with loungers, gardens and children’s play park. Sports include mini-golf, billiards, petanca, sports centre, one multi-purpose court for tennis, indoor football, basketball, handball, one multi-purpose court for volleyball, badminton, indiaca. There is also a gymnasium and a sauna. There is also an entertainment programme.
The hotel consists of 349 rooms having a terrace or balcony with views over the swimming pool and gardens. Rooms are equipped with complete bathroom, sat-TV, ceiling fan, safety deposit box to rent and telephone. There are rooms for guests with walking difficulties on request.
