The Parador de Cáceres was built on the
site of the former Torreorgaz Palace, a Renaissance palace in the heart of the
historic centre of the city, a World Heritage Site. It is elegantly decorated
and completely refurbished, combining tradition and modernity. It has a
beautiful interior garden.

Its rooms, fully renovated, have a modern
and minimalist decoration, which are integrated with some elements of the
palace itself, such as its stone arches in some of them.

Its restaurant serves delicious dishes such
as Iberian sirloin steak with Casar cheese, Retinta veal and Iberian pork
products (based on products with Extremadura designation of origin), not
forgetting the traditional zorongollo (an exquisite Extremaduran vegetable
salad) as well as roasted lamb shoulder with potatoes "a lo pobre” (fried,
with onion), roast suckling pig and Pata Negra ham, all surrounded by a warm,
elegant and contemporary décor with views of the garden.
