The Parador de Guadalupe is a 16th century building next to the Royal Monastery of Guadalupe, a town located in the heart of the Geopark, listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, and has a beautiful Mudejar cloister decorated with lemon and orange trees and several fountains in Arabic style. It is close to the surrounding mountain towns of Cañamero, Logrosán and Berzocana. The rooms have a classic decoration with warm colours and some of the beds have canopies. They are equipped with flat screen TV, heating, safe, desk, in some of them there is a sitting area with sofas and a complete bathroom with shower or bathtub. Some of the rooms have a furnished terrace and views of the garden, the courtyard or the swimming pool. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, surrounded by gardens and trees, where there is also an area with loungers and a terrace with access to the bar. Its restaurant offers traditional Extremaduran cuisine, with dishes such as tomato soup with grapes, monk cod, Extremaduran ajoblanco (garlic soup), migas (fried breadcrumbs dish), "Padre Pedro" chicken, seasonal game and mushrooms, lamb stew, chestnut pudding, repápalos con leche (milk dessert) and muégado de Guadalupe.
