The Parador is located in a monastery that dates back to the 6th and 7th centuries, in Nogueira de Ramuin, in the heart of the Ribeira Sacra, in the middle of a wooded area and very close to the rivers Miño and Sil. The beauty and monumentality of the building led to its declaration as a Historic-Artistic Monument in 1923. All the rooms are decorated in a modern and simple way and all of them have views to the nature and the impressive Sil Canyons. As well as an outdoor swimming pool, the hotel has a spa with all kinds of circuits, with bubble and hydro massage baths, Vichy showers, body treatments and other interesting treatments such as wine therapy and chestnut therapy. On the grounds there are also several halls for celebrations, as it is a privileged setting for weddings or meetings, as well as a business centre, conference rooms and even a chapel. Its restaurant has a terrace next to the forest, with Galician gastronomy and special menus for gluten intolerants.
