The hotel is a typical Galician pazo that offers beautiful views of the castle of Monterrei, as well as beautiful panoramic views over the valley and the vineyards, very close to the border with Portugal and just 2 km. away from Verín. The town is well known for the Carnival of Verín, declared a festival of national tourist interest, deeply rooted in the local culture as well as the Cigarrón, a character who whips neighbours and tourists, dressed in a carved wooden mask. The Parador has simple rooms in Castilian wood and wooden floors. Its facilities include a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and peaceful gardens where you will be able to stroll around. Restaurant service is available in the nearby Parador Castillo de Monterrei (located only 600 metres away, it is a 10 minute walk on foot or 5 minutes by car). At the Parador de Verín only cafeteria service and breakfast will be offered.
