Melia Fuerteventura is located on Sotavento Beach, on Fuerteventura’s Jandía Peninsula, surrounded by sand dunes. It offers 2 outdoor swimming pools including a 75 m seawater pool, a children´s pool, a spa and a water sports centre.

Windsurfing, kitesurfing and scuba diving lessons by René Egli school are available. There are floodlit tennis and paddle tennis courts, a games room and children’s playground. Entertainment is provided and there is an internet corner.

All air-conditioned rooms have a private balcony and flat-screen satellite TV. There is a safe, small fridge and seating area. The private bathroom comes with a hairdryer and amenities.

At the main buffet venue, The Kitchen, there’s an array of wholesome cuisine to savour, from fresh fruits and detox juices to succulent meat and fish grills as well as an extensive vegetarian menu. There’s also a bar for snacks and smoothies – whilst the Ginger beverage bar is on hand with a fabulous range of cocktails.

Overlooking the sea and Sotavento lagoon, you’ll find a minimalist outdoor pool, accompanied by a sun terrace dotted with plenty of sun beds. There’s also a superb spa area, Body and Sol, offering a choice of deluxe treatments, along with a world-class windsurfing school on the beach – both of these are available for a local charge.
